Fishing season starts on St Patrick's Day

The ladybirds are out, soft white fur is appearing on the tips of the willows, baby nettles are poking up through the grasses... spring is coming! And after such a long, cold winter, it's very very welcome. As will be Thursday 17th March - the first day of the 2011 fishing season and the start of a new year for the Inchbeg Fishing School http://www.inchbegfishingschool.com/. The river is in lovely condition for spinning and worms, so we'll be casting out a line or two this weekend.
